Glimpses of the Departmental Seminar Series Panchakarma Department, SVAYC
On 18th February, Friday the inter departmental seminars were organized under the auspices of PG Panchakarma department. The programme was started at 2.30 pm. Dr Preeti, 1st year PG scholar invited principal Dr Murali Krishna sir, Vice principal Dr Sundaram sir and HOD, Panchakarma department Dr Lakshman Prasad on to the dias. Three presentations were rendered on the varied aspects of the disease Sciatica. Dr BS Yashoda Devi, PG final year scholar presented on the "Clinical updates on Sciatica". Dr KS Harita, PG final year scholar dwell upon "Principles of management of Gridhrasi vata in Ayurveda and current methods of management in conventional system". Dr G Padmavati, PG final year scholar has given her presentation on "Importance of Shodhana in the management of Gridhrasi vata and research updates". After completion of the presentations discussion was initiated by faculty members. Dr Lakshmana Prasad, HOD, Panchakarma department and Dr Harshavardhan Appaji, Reader Panchakarma department answered their queries. Finally, Principal Dr. P. Murali Krishna sir enlightened the audience by sharing his experiences on the disease Gridhrasi vata. At the end Vote of thanks was given by Dr Priyanka, final year PG scholar. The session was finished by 4.30 pm.
